Lower Primary Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a patient, nurturing, and qualified Lower Primary Teacher to teach children in the early grades. The ideal candidate will support foundational literacy, numeracy, and social development using Montessori-based and child-centered approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Lower Primary pupils using Montessori and age-appropriate methods
• Develop lesson plans that support early literacy and numeracy
• Create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
• Monitor and document pupil progress
• Communicate effectively with parents and school leadership
• Support pupils emotional, social, and academic development
• Maintain classroom organization and learning materials

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field
• Experience teaching Lower Primary pupils
• Knowledge of Montessori methods is an advantage
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for working with young children
