Career Technology Teacher (JHS)

Job Summary

A School is seeking a qualified Career Technology Teacher to teach Junior High School students, with a strong focus on JHS3 examination preparation. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, practical, and exam-focused instruction aligned with the GES curriculum, while nurturing creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Career Technology across JHS levels, with emphasis on JHS3 BECE preparation
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the GES syllabus
• Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations
• Conduct practical lessons using appropriate tools and materials
• Assess, grade, and provide feedback on student work
• Maintain accurate lesson notes, records, and reports
• Collaborate with other teachers to support overall academic excellence
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Education, Career Technology, Technical Education, or related field
• Proven experience preparing JHS3 students for examinations
• Knowledge of the BECE format and expectations
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passion for hands-on and practical teaching
• Teaching license or certification is an advantage
