Sales Lead

Location: Remote (Ghana/Nigeria)

Salary: ₦600,000 per month + Performance-Based Commission

Reports To: Founder / Leadership

Role Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for revenue generation, client acquisition, and pipeline management.

This role owns outbound sales, enterprise prospecting, deal negotiation, and client relationship growth.

Success in this role is measured by revenue closed, pipeline health, client retention, and average deal size.

Core Responsibilities

1. Revenue & Sales Strategy

  Develop and execute a structured outbound sales strategy targeting global companies.

  Identify priority industries (tech, logistics, healthcare, finance, etc.).

  Create predictable sales pipeline systems.

2. Lead Qualification & Closing

   Convert marketing-qualified leads into paying clients.

   Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments.

   Develop customised staffing proposals.

   Close deals and negotiate contracts.

3. Outbound Prospecting

    Lead LinkedIn outreach and email prospecting campaigns.

  Build strategic partnerships and referral networks.

  Drive cold outreach initiatives targeting decision-makers.

4. CRM & Pipeline Management

  Maintain accurate CRM records.

  Track deal stages, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.

  Provide weekly pipeline and revenue reports.

5. Client Relationship Management

  Ensure smooth onboarding in collaboration with the recruitment team.

  Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

  Maintain long-term client retention.

6. Sales Performance Reporting

  Weekly revenue forecasts

  Monthly closed-won reporting

  Quarterly sales performance review

Required Experience & Competencies

  3+ years in B2B sales (recruitment, staffing, HR tech, or SaaS preferred).

  Demonstrated ability to close Regional & international clients.

  Experience selling to global companies.

  Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.

  Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics.

  Excellent presentation and proposal-writing skills.

Success Metrics (First 6–12 Months)

  Clear and structured sales pipeline

  Consistent monthly revenue growth

  Defined average deal size and sales cycle length

  Achieving revenue targets aligned with company growth goals

Compensation Recommendation Structure

Base Salary: ₦600,000/month

For Sales Manager:

    Commission: 5–10% of closed revenue

    Quarterly bonus for hitting revenue targets
